Congrats Grad....

Oh no, where have I been, totally forgot to post. But don't worry there is still lots of time to enter our new challenge over at Magnolia Down Under - TIC TAC TOE. For my creation I used metal, buttons, sentiment. I work with a young lady who will be graduating high school next month,  so I made this for her. I coloured with distress markers. Still working on getting the hang of them, slow process for me...lol

Weddings or Anniversaries....

Yes its getting to be that time of year, lots of weddings and anniversaries. Over at Magnolia down Under we'd love you to join in on our theme.

For my card I used this sweet Tilda and Edwin, my fave wedding couple. They are coloured with distress markers on The Langton hot press water colour paper. The flowers are a mix of wild orchid crafts and dollar store.  Lots of pearls too of course. We have a wedding for our friends Lyle-Lynn and Norm coming up, can't wait! Hope they like the card.

Easter Treats....

 

Hi guys, time for another Magnolia Down Under challenge. This time it's a sketch. Don't you love sketches. I do!!!! Saves me thinking....lol.  We also have the option of Easter Treats. I masked this sweet Tilda with her treats - a big egg full of Cadbury Chocolate Mini Eggs (hahahahaha at least that's what I want for Easter)...  I used some soft pastel Nursery papers and spring flowers and butterflies. I really wanted that pop of teal and I think it works okay.   Well I'm off to the city for more hockey.  We decided to sign our middle son up for Spring hockey (guess we didn't have enough of it all winter...hahahahaha).  Actually I can't wait to watch him play on a team with kids he's never met. Great to see how his skills match up.

Easter Blessings....

Time for a new challenge over at Magnolia Down Under. We'd love to see your Blue, Brown and White Creations. I used this cute bunny Tilda coloured softly with distress markers. Still no loving them, but I do like the soft effect. I cut a foam egg in half and added it to the card. Sentiment is printed on computer and the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts.

Beautiful Butterflies...

Butterflies... yes that's the theme over at Magnolia Down Under. Hurry you have a week to enter. Join in on this one believe me it made me yearn for spring. It's been so cold her in Canada. I just want some warm days to go Cross Country Skiing or Snowboarding.....ughhhh.

I used this butterfly Tilda and added some Wild Orchid Flowers. I transformed the dragon fly die cut into a butterfly with some stamens. Finished it off with some lace, ribbon and liquid pearls.

Hi all, hope you're having a great week. I have some Magnolia Inspiration for you. Over at Magnolia Down Under we have our new challenge - Doohickeys and Dies. So this means you can use only those, no images, but a sentiment is fine. I have to admit I don't have very many, you are seeing probably all of mine here -minus the butterfly. I came across a beautiful card by Karen Shady and took inspiration for my creation.  The top pic looks  a little wonky as the card was bending backwards. The sympathy stamp is from Whimsy Stamps. oh my gosh where have I been, it's been nearly a month since my last post. While obviously I'm not as active as I used to be and have given up nearly all my dt positions.
