Joy fold...

Hi everyone, sorry I'm a bit late posting but i was away with my boys for a few days for the long weekend here in Canada. Over at Totally Tilda we have a more than one fold challenge. I haven't done a joy fold in ages so thought it was time.  I used a mix of DCWV and Basic Grey papers. I coloured Tilda with Distress Ink Markers, but still haven't quite figured it out.  I kept the embellishments to a minimum as I found it difficult to open with too many flowers.

Move it baby....

Time for a new Magnolia Down Under Challenge - We'd like your card to have something that moves on it.  I made a slider tag.  Pull the flower and the You are my inspiration sentiment slides out. I used pop dots behind Tilda to stop it from sliding out completely.  The papers are all DCWV and I used a mix of spellbinders dies. Tilda was coloured with copics.
Hop over to the MDUC blog we have a great sponsor from
with a fantastic $20 voucher up for grabs to a lucky winner
I am entering Midweek Magnolia - die cuts or punches.
Marvelous Magnolia challenge - anything goes.

CLP Sketch challenge...

Another post today, as Internet wouldn't allow me to upload on the 1st of May so here is finally my creation for our fab sketch over at CLP! I used my distress markers - (I have had no luck with them, I've even switch to Langton Extra Smooth 300g and it is still awful! Any tips out there?  The wood frame is from Michael's and I painted it with Tim's White Crackle Paint!  I used a mixture of flowers and finished off with some green seam binding. Don't forget to check out the girls amazing cards over at the blog, and please join in on the sketch!

Pink Princess....

Hi all, I think my internet is finally coming around a bit....still no wireless! But I'm able to share our new challenge over at Totally Tilda - PINK PRINCESS!
How fun is that? Pink - so girly and adorable Tilda Princesses - love it!
I used DCWV Garden Party Papers paired with some fab shapes from Susie's Die Cut Dreams. The big flower I've had in my stash for ages and was so nice to finally use it!  The butterflies are cut from the DP!
This time we are sponsored by Bunny Zoes so hop on over and check out all the DT creations.

Gymnast Tilda...

Hi everyone, hope you're enjoying your weekend. OMG we woke up to a snowstorm. It's just crazy, it's supposed to be spring and we still have our winter coats and boots out!
I guess that makes for great crafting days and over at Totally Tilda we have a fun challenge...
Heat Embossing
This time we are very lucky as we are sponsored by
The pretty little ribbon
I used Gymnast Tilda which was a gift from Corry - Fancy Free4Ever,  The papers are all fun and bright and some new flowers from Michael's.  For my heat embossing I used a versamark pen and coloured on the ribbon, outfit and heart. Then I used Stampin'
Up Iridescent Ice and heat embossed for a glittery look.  I picked up the tags at our local dollar store~

Skippy Dee....

Time for an adorable Elisabeth
Bell stamp - this is Skippy Dee and she's available from Whimsy Stamps. I also used the Whimsy vine die, tag die and a Sentiment from the
Balloons collection by Raindrop Echo Designs. Lots of soft flowers from
Wild orchid Crafts.  Of course I had to finish off with some girly lace.
My boys are in a drama production tonight and tomorrow can't wait to see all their hard work pay off, so excited!

Sweet Friend...

Hi all time for a new Magnolia Down Under Challenge today. We'd like to see masking. I have to admit although I totally love masked cards, I hate the extra bit of cutting. I thought these two stamps would be cute together as DD had a birthday party to attend on SAturday.  The colouring is done with copics. I used a mix of Wild Orchid and dollar store flowers. Added some pearls and gems  to finish it off.   Well gotta run I start training for a new position for the next two weeks, but I'll try to catch up as much as I can!  OMG just peeked outside and there is a blizzard coming. It's supposed to be Spring - yikes!

Roar.....

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  I went to the city with my oldest son and did some shopping, even found some thrift store finds. I found a mini sewing machine that I'm hoping to use for my cards. Just need to google some instructions lol... Over at Totally Tilda we have a fun BINGO challenge for you. I used Sparkle/Glitter, faux stitching and ribbon.   This is my first time colouring this cutie orange like a real tiger and I love it! I  added a bit of pink to make it extra girly. Coloured with copic markers.
