Happy Monday, I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I sure did. Our family curled yesterday and made it to the finals, but we ended up losing. I am so proud of us though we had my 6 year old throw the rocks third which is right before the skip (this spot is usually for the second best player) and I have to say he did so well and was the youngest player. We were lucky enough to pick our prize second over all, so we received some fun stuff.
For this card I used the newly released Lily from Prairie Fairy Designs. I decided to go with a tiger lily for my colour choice, as I grow quite a few of these in my garden. The stargazer is my favourite though. I coloured the flower with pencil crayons and baby oil since I just love this method it is so relaxing. I meant to make this card more bright and spring like, but seems I ended up with a darker fall look!
The sketch is from Crafts 4 Enternity, Totally Gorjuss (flower power), Lexi's Creations (anything goes).
