I wasn't going to post a card until tomorrow, but guess what.... I'll be gone all day to Scrapaganza muhhhahaahaha.... yes for a full day of Card Making. But for Roberta and I it will probably be just straight shopping as we predict we will get nothing done. Corry is coming as well, but she is experienced at completing projects at these things and gets right to it and seems to always leave with multiple completed projects. Where as myself, I am just too damn nosey. I love looking at everyone else's work and well.... shopping! Oh and we have to leave at 6am (Nuts huh?)
So here is card I made for for my good friend and Mom's roomie who is now on the mend after he was having heartburn for a day or so. Well after it persisted he decided to go to the Emergency Room, where they told him he was having a heart attack and rushed him in to surgery. Of course he is very lucky, but leads a healthy active life which probably saved him. It's going to drive him crazy to not be able to be as active for the next few weeks. I also should mention that my kids think he is the greatest person in the world and love him to death! So they signed and sent this card! We're all so glad he's doing good!
This is for the Crafty Creations challenge (limited) I used no embellies or ribbon or sketch. Crafty Angels (favourite things - mine are cats and we have two cuties). Creative Cottage (things wings), Little Red Wagon (dry emboss), Flutter By Wednesdays.
I used three different images from the Prairie Fairy, the bee, Roocat sorry, and the vine. I wanted to use the vine as a plant, hence the inspiration. I used the burnishing technique for the vine! See you Sunday! Well maybe tomorrow.....lol

Holy Moses. A heart attack! Hope he feels 100% after surgery! I really like the simplicity of the card, which is very 'not your style'. Nicely done!

I'm sooooo jealous. I'd love to go to a big friendly crop with friends. I've been to a couple of retreats, but go alone and hook up with some casual friends. This get well card is wonderful. I love it! He was so lucky to get to the ER in time. Men usually fight getting medical help.
LOVE your card, Lori! I want to copy it : )
Lifting up prayers for your mom's roomie. JESUS continues to heal today (I am living proof!)
