Pink Birthday wishes

I had a request from my hairdresser for a card for her mother-in-law. My mom had previously given her a card using the same image from the Prairie Fairy. She asked if I could make her robe pink since her MIL stays in hers all day. I used the same verse since I think it's so funny! As I said the first time I used this image it could totally be me when I'm older but holding a glass of wine! I glittered her slippers and earrings and added liquid applique to the trim of her robe.
As you probably know my 2nd son has a broken leg and this is week 10 and he should have his cast off for good on thursday. He is down to a day cast now, so I tried to get him to walk to the bus stop today since he's getting along really well. Of course he protested and I told him get going and that he was spoiled since I've driven him for nearly 3 months, so he left unhappily....lol, then I peered out the window and the rain had just began to fall - I told him it was his lucky day! He was so happy. By the time I got home 5 mins later it was snowing- OMG I can't believe it. I just can't seem to warm up now, hopefully the sun will be out for good tomorrow because I want spring back....lol
This card is for the following challenges. Too late for the sketch...boohooo, Crafty Catz - spots, SPCC - colour challenge, Incy Wincy, Corrosive and Stamp with Us!
