Geisha girl...

Wow Friday already woohoo! Time for another Fairy Fun Friday challenge and this one is to make your own flowers. I opted for a lace flower topped with a big vintage button, but not quite sure if the flower fits my card. I once again used this gorgeous Geisha image which is available in the Prairie Fairy store. Papers are DCVW Far East collection. The senitment is Japanese Kanji Happiness, Courage, & Love. I paper pieced her kimono for a textured look. I am entering my card at these challenges....Aly's Sunday Challenge - distressed, Gingerloft - buttons, I Did It Creations - add a charm, Stamp, Scrap & Doodle - buttons.

OMG, Lori, this is an amazing piece of work. I totally love the colors and papers you have used. Fab work on the paper piecing and I love the Japanese script banner. The handmade flower ain't too shabby either (it's actually awesome) and what a lovely vintage button. Love it all!
