Wow what a wonderful Summer it's been hot hot hot. The sad part is my 10 year old is in hockey camp all week. 8 hours a day at the arena and it's sunny and hot outside. I had some time last night to make a card and wanted to challenge myself with the Magnolilicious highlites challenge paper only - OMG I wanted to add lace, flowers, pearls. Instead I made my own flowers and used some sparkly cardstock to bling it up a bit. The flourish dies are Whimsy Stamps and the Green flowers Magnolia. Thanks Trish for the heart and let me stamp Mermaid Tilda! Also the theme at TOMIC is round cards. The gorgeous die shape and stand are from the Die Cut Dreams Shop. Tilda is coloured with distress inks. I am entering Crafting for all Seasons - ocean and Deep Ocean - sea.

You made Tilda the mermaid beautiful, she looks perfect and the homemade flowers on the left with the swirl look like coral and ocean foilage. Very pretty card.
Lori, this is just gorgeous. Love your colour scheme and the way you colour with distress inks--haven't tried that yet. I'm a fan of homemade flowers and yours are gorgeous--haven't tried making these rolled flowers either. Love your card.
