Summer fun

I am so happy, I popped over at Susie and Vikki's christmas challenge today and noticed they picked me as their winner for my holly card that I posted a few posts ago. OMG I was so excited, I get to be a guest designer next week, woohoo! Thanks so much, I just love your challenges!

I think I am starting to get the winter blues, I just can't wait for Summer, I'm getting so sick of winter now, it usually doesn't bother me too much, but I'm ready for it to go, and what a way to start thinking about it than with this adorable new release from Roberta. It is just sooooo adorable. I coloured this little boy the other day, but didn't get the card completed until today. I used the sketch at Papertake Weekly, Quixotic Challenge (boys), Stamp with fun (stiching). I distressed the edges of the paper and added those beads - they were from one of my son's necklace's that broke, they look like fish or dinosaur vertebraes I thought they suited the beach theme.

My son is driving me crazy already, he keeps yelling because his leg is itchy and it feels better when I scratch the spot on TOP of his cast - OMG, go figure, boys!!!!
