Shabby Chicness....

Well I woke up to snow covered lawns, streets this morning, but there isn't much so it may not last. I also went and did the Blog Hop at Magnolia-licious Highlights and got inspired to create a home decor project. And since the theme at MDUC is shabby chic. I combined the two. Well you all know that I never do things like this so it was a stretch for me. I decided to make my daughter a Name Frame for her room. I decided on this gorgeous Tilda since I learnt Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on violin on Monday...lol. After I finished I thought hey I should make a matching tin for her to store her barretts and elastics in. So this is how it came together. I would have loved a white frame, but all I had on hand was black. I'm still happy with it. I used the Priceless stamp set from SU, coloured with copics, added stickles. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Lace punch is Martha Stewart.
